SIMPLE FRUIT COBBLER 
1 stick butter
1 c. self rising flour
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. milk
1 (No. 2) can of fruit or frozen fruit

Melt butter in shallow baking dish. Pour (well mixed) flour, sugar and milk into melted butter (do not stir). Then add fruit. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes, remove from oven, sprinkle with sugar over crust (if desired), return to oven for 10 minutes. The crust will rise to the top and fruit will spread throughout mixture. Top with whipped cream or ice cream.
