VEGETABLE APPETIZER | |
2 pkgs. crescent rolls 1 c. mayonnaise 2 (8 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese 1 sm. pkg. Ranch dressing mix Assorted vegetables (broccoli, cauliflower, olives, carrots, cucumbers, radishes, etc.) Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly press crescent rolls flat on cookie sheet. Bake 5 to 6 minutes. Combine cheese, mayo and dry salad dressing mix. Frost the cooled pastry with this mixture. Cut up all the raw veggies into small pieces and sprinkle on top of cream cheese mixture. Cut into squares to serve. Serves 5 to 10 as an appetizer. |

to prevent that and make a better "veggie pizza".Poke holes in crust with a fork before baking.You won't have so many lumps and bumps.It will hold veggies better.It still rises but won't explode over the sides of cookie sheet.Also becareful on how many veggies you use.Any leftover veggies can be thrown in a mixture of sourcream and cream cheese and a little pesto for a great dip!
