FILLED CUPCAKES 
1 c. hot water
4 sqs. bitter chocolate
1/4 lb. (1 stick) butter
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. sour milk or buttermilk
2 eggs

FILLING:

1 c. milk
5 tsp. flour
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. Crisco

Melt bitter chocolate squares and butter in hot water. Sift sugar, flour, and soda in large mixing bowl. Add chocolate mixture to dry ingredients. Then add 1/2 cup milk with 2 eggs slightly beaten in with flour and chocolate mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.

Filling: Blend flour and milk and cook until thick. Let mixture get cold. Cream together sugar, butter, and Crisco. Add this to flour and milk mixture and beat until fluffy. Cut holes in top of cooled cupcakes. Fill with filling; replace top you cut off.
