NEVER FAIL PIE CRUST 
5 c. flour
1 tbsp. salt
1 egg
2 tbsp. sugar
1 lb. lard

Blend lard into flour until fine. Break egg in 1 cup measuring cup and fill with water mixing egg and water together. Add to flour mixture mixing good. This makes 3 double crust pies and 2 single pie crusts. Can be rolled in balls and frozen to be used later.
