MEATBALL HORS D'OEUVRES 
MEATBALLS:

1 1/2-2 lb. lean ground beef
3 slices bread in 1/2 c. milk
1 egg, beaten
1/2 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
2 tbsp. oil

Squeeze excess milk from bread slices. Mix all ingredients and shape into small balls. Fry in oil until brown. Drain. Place in baking dish.

SAUCE TOPPING:

2 c. ketchup
4 tbsp. cider vinegar
8 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. molasses
1/2 c. water

Combine all ingredients and bring to a boil. Pour over meatballs. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
