MEAT BALLS AND SAUCE 
MEATBALLS:

1 lb. hamburger
2 c. bread crumbs, moistened
1/2 onion, grated
1 egg
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper

SAUCE:

1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 (12 oz.) can tomato paste
1 can Italian style stewed tomatoes
2 (12 oz.) cans water
1 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. sugar

Combine meat, moistened bread crumbs and remaining meatball ingredients; form into balls. Brown in oil. Drain off oil and grease. Add sauce ingredients; cook with lid partially covered for 1 hour.
