CHINESE ALMOND COOKIES 
1 c. butter
2/3 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
2/3 c. finely chopped almonds
1 tbsp. milk
1/2 tsp. almond extract
1 2/3 c. flour

Combine butter, sugar, and salt. Add remaining ingredients. Chill 1 hour. Shape into 48 small balls, press to 1/3 inch thickness. Bake on ungreased baking sheet at 350 degrees for 18 minutes or until lightly browned.
