4 med. sweet potatoes
1/3 c. granulated sugar
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. light cream
1 unbaked pie shell, chilled
3 eggs, lightly beaten
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. grated lemon rind
1/2 stick butter, melted

Scrub sweet potatoes. Cook until soft, and peel. Combine potatoes and spices. Mix until fluffy. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Put in unbaked pie shell. Bake at 350 degrees until done, approximately 45-60 minutes.
