GARLIC TOMATOES 
10 med. tomatoes, ripe
3 lg. Vidalia onions
1/2 c. garlic powder
1 c. sugar
1 lg. bottle apple cider vinegar
2 c. vegetable oil

Use a large bowl or pickle jar that can be covered. Blanch and peel tomatoes. Cut into 6-8 pieces. Dice onions. In bowl mix tomatoes, onions, sugar, garlic, and oil. Cover mixture with vinegar. Let stand at least 24 hours. Serve cold. DO NOT COVER TIGHTLY!
