PUMPKIN BREAD 
2/3 c. shortening
2 2/3 c. sugar
1 lg. can pumpkin
2/3 c. water
3 c. self-rising flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
1/3 c. flour, mixed with 2/3 c. nuts & 2/3 c. raisins

Blend shortening and sugar, add pumpkin. Blend in water and flour. Add spice. Fold in the floured nuts and raisins. Bake in loaf pan at 350 degrees until brown and tester comes out clean.
