CHERRY DROP COOKIES 
1 pkg. Duncan Hines cherry cake mix
1/2 c. cooking oil
2 tbsp. water
2 eggs
Few drops food coloring if desired
1 c. chopped nuts
Maraschino cherry quarters

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Blend cake mix, oil, water, eggs and food coloring. Stir in nuts. Drop from a teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet. Press cherry quarters in center of each cookie. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Cool on cookie sheet for about 1 minute, then remove to rack to finish cooling.
