AMERICAN SALSA 
2 cans (4 oz. each) chopped green chiles
1 can (6 oz.) black olives, sliced
1 bunch green onions, sliced-include green tops
3 to 4 ripe tomatoes, chopped
1 lg. garlic clove, minced
1 tbsp. olive oil
Salt to taste
Hot sauce (optional)

Mix first 5 ingredients. Drizzle olive oil over all and salt to taste. Allow to stand in refrigerator several hours or overnight. Serve with tortilla chips.

This is a beautifully colorful dish, served in a wooden bowl or pottery. A great recipe on working days!
