RICE PUDDING | |
1/2 c. Carolina rice 1 qt. whole milk 1 (10 oz.) can evaporated milk 1/2 c. sugar 1 tsp. vanilla Slowly cook rice in whole milk on top of stove until milk is absorbed (up to 2 hours, but it will absorb in much less time). Combine all other ingredients. Stir well and cook 5 more minutes. Pour into low casserole pan. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Serve warm or cold. Recipe may be doubled. NOTE: Rich and creamy is this recipe. Everyone will want the recipe. |
