1/2 c. sifted powdered sugar 1 c. soft butter 1 tsp. vanilla 2 1/4 c. sifted flour 1/4 tsp. salt 3/4 c. finely chopped nuts Mix together powdered sugar, soft butter and vanilla. Sift together and stir in flour and salt. Mix in nuts. Chill dough. Roll into 1" balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes until set but not brown. While still warm, roll in sifted powdered sugar. Cool. Roll in sugar again. Yield: about 4 dozen cookies. |
