1/2 c. Crisco
1 c. sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 c. molasses
1/2 c. milk
3/4 c. raisins (optional)
3 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/4 tsp. salt

Beat sugar and Crisco. Add eggs, then milk and molasses. Add dry ingredients together and add to mix. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
