POLISH BEETS AND PINEAPPLE 
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. butter
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 (8 or 9 oz.) pineapple tidbits
1 can sliced or quartered beets, drained

Combine sugar, cornstarch, and salt in pan. Stir in pineapple and syrup. Cook until mixture is thick and bubbly. Add butter, lemon juice and beets. Cook over low heat for 10 minutes. Great for any kind of meat.
