CRESCENT CHICKEN SQUARES 
1 pkg. soft cream cheese
3 tbsp. melted butter
2 c. cooked cubed chicken
1/4 tsp. salt
Dash pepper
2 tbsp. milk
1 tbsp. chives
1 tbsp. pimento (optional)
1 pkg. Pillsbury crescent rolls
3/4 c. seasoned croutons, crushed

In medium bowl, blend cream cheese and 2 tablespoons of the butter until smooth. Add chicken, salt, pepper, milk, chives and pimento. Mix well. Separate crescent dough into 4 rectangles; firmly press perforations together to seal. Spoon 1/2 cup mixture onto center of each rectangle. Pull corners of dough to top center of chicken squares and twist slightly to seal edges. Dip into crouton crumbs after brushing with remaining butter. Place on baking sheet and bake 25 minutes at 350 degrees.
