1 c. ketchup
2 tbsp. vinegar
2 tbsp. Worcestershire
1/4 tsp. Tabasco
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. water
1/4 lb. butter (optional)

Mix all ingredients. Simmer for 10 minutes.
