CHICKEN LASAGNA 
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
3 tbsp. butter
1 can cream of chicken soup
1/3 c. milk
8 oz. mushrooms, drained
1/4 c. pimento (optional)
1/2 tsp. basil (optional)
1 1/2 c. cottage cheese
2 c. shredded American cheese
1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
8 oz. pkg. lasagna noodles, cooked
3 c. chicken, diced

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Saute onion and pepper in butter until light. Add to soup, milk, mushrooms, pimento and basil to make sauce. Combine cheeses.

Layer noodles, sauce, cheeses, and chicken in well-greased 9x13 pan. Bake about 45 minutes, uncovered, until golden brown and bubbly.
