BEEF PAPRIKA 
1/4 c. shortening
2 lbs. beef, chuck or round, cubed
1 c. sliced onion
1 sm. clove garlic, minced
3/4 c. catsup
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp. brown sugar
2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. paprika
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
Dash cayenne pepper
1 1/2 c. water
2 tbsp. flour
1/4 c. water

Melt shortening. Add meat, onion and garlic. Stir until meat is browned. Add catsup, Worcestershire sauce, sugar, salt, paprika, mustard, cayenne pepper and 1 1/2 cups water. Simmer for 2 to 2 1/2 hours. Thicken with 1/4 cup water and 2 tablespoons flour. Serve over cooked noodles.
