BEEF PAPRIKA 
1/4 c. shortening
2 lbs. beef, cubed
2 c. sliced onions
1 clove minced garlic
1/2 lb. mushrooms
3/4 c. catsup
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp. brown sugar
2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. paprika
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1 1/2 c. water

Brown beef in shortening. Add onions, garlic and mushrooms. Mix all other ingredients and pour over beef. When bubbly, cover and cook 45 minutes. Then mix 2 tablespoons with 1/4 cup water and pour in to thicken.
