SOUR CREAM POUND CAKE 
2 sticks butter
3 c. sugar
6 eggs
3 c. self-rising flour
1 c. (8 oz.) sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring

Cream butter and sugar; add eggs. Mix in flour, sour cream, vanilla; mix well. Pour into a greased tube cake pan. Bake 1 hour, 15 minutes in a preheated 325 degree oven.
