SECRET KISS COOKIES | |
1 c. soft butter 1/2 c. sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 2 c. plain flour 1 c. finely chopped pecans 1 (5 3/4 oz.) pkg. candy kisses Confectioners' sugar At medium speed on mixer, beat butter, sugar, and vanilla until light and fluffy. Add flour and nuts; beat on low speed until well blended. Chill dough. Remove foil from kisses. Heat oven to 375 degrees. Shape 1 tablespoon dough around kiss and roll into ball. Be sure to completely cover kiss. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet for 12 minutes (not brown). Roll in confectioners' sugar. Cool. Store in tightly covered container. Roll again in sugar before serving. Makes 40 cookies. |
