FUNNEL CAKES 
Vegetable cooking oil
1 1/3 c. milk
2 1/2 c. self rising flour
2 eggs
1/2 c. sugar
Confectioner's sugar

Heat 2 inches of oil in pan (375 degrees). Beat ingredients until smooth. Pour 1/2 cup batter into funnel. Drip batter into oil slowly swirling circles. Fry until light brown. Turn, fry other side. Drain and sprinkle on confectioners' sugar. Makes 6.
