SMUCKER JAM BARS | |
2 1/4 c. flour 1 c. sugar 1 c. butter 1 egg 1 c. nuts, chopped 1 (10-12 oz.) jar Smucker's raspberry or apricot jam Mix flour and butter as for pie dough. Mix sugar and egg. Combine mixtures and add chopped nuts. Press 2/3 of dough mixture into bottom layer. Spread jam, but not too close to edge as it will burn in baking. Sprinkle rest of dough mixture on top. Bake in 9 x 9 inch pan at 350 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes. |
