BEEF-CABBAGE CASSEROLE 
1 med. head cabbage, coarsely shredded, about 8 c.
1/4 c. water
1/4 tsp. salt
1 lb. ground beef
1 c. soft bread crumbs
1/2 c. milk
1 sm. onion, chopped
1 egg
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. marjoram

Cover and cook cabbage with water and salt until cabbage is wilted, about 5 minutes. Mix the meat and other ingredients as in meat loaf. Place half the cabbage in an ungreased casserole. Spread beef mixture over cabbage. Top with remaining cabbage. Cover and bake in 350 degree oven until done, 55 to 60 minutes.
