BROCCOLI CASSEROLE | |
2 pkg. (10 oz. each) frozen chopped broccoli 4 tbsp. butter 1/2 c. onion, chopped 2 tbsp. flour 1/2 c. cold water 8 oz. Velveeta cheese 1/2 tsp. salt 3 eggs Corn flakes (or bread crumbs) Thaw and drain broccoli several hours or overnight. Saute onion in butter; stir in flour and add water. Cook over low heat until mixture thickens. Add cheese and salt; stir until cheese melts. Add beaten eggs and broccoli; mix well. Pour into greased baking dish and cover with corn flake crumbs (bread crumbs) or 4 slices toasted bread crumbs and 1 stick butter. Bake at 325 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes. |
