WESTERN HASH 
1 1/2 to 2 lb. hamburger
1/2 c. chopped onions
1/2 c. uncooked rice
1 c. chopped green pepper
2 cans or 1 qt. cut up tomatoes
Salt and pepper, to taste

Brown hamburger, add rest of ingredients to hamburger. Mix together and simmer until rice is done. Put in casserole, top with cheese slices; let brown. Serves 4.
