CRANBERRY SURPRISE PIE 
1 c. fresh or frozen cranberries
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. chopped walnuts
1 egg
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. flour
1/4 c. butter, melted
2 tbsp. Crisco oil

Grease an 8 inch pie plate. Spread cranberries on bottom. Sprinkle 1/4 cup sugar and nuts on cranberries. Beat egg well, add 1/2 cup sugar and beat until well mixed. Add flour, melted butter and oil and beat well. Pour over cranberries and nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Serve with vanilla ice cream.
