YEAST BISCUITS 
5 c. flour
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. shortening
1 egg
2 c. warm water
2 pkg. dry yeast

Combine water and yeast and set aside. Combine flour, sugar and salt and blend in shortening with fork or pastry blender. Add egg and water and yeast mixture and stir until well blended. Pour onto floured board and knead a few times until smooth. Cut and place in greased pan (fills a 9 x 13 inch cake pan). Let rise at least 1/2 hour. The longer you let them rise the bigger they will be. Bake in 350 degree oven approximately 30 minutes or until done.
