1 lb. franks 1/4 c. vinegar 1 tbsp. cornstarch 1/3 c. soy sauce 1/4 c. water 3 tbsp. brown sugar 3 tbsp. honey 1/2 tsp. ground ginger 1/2 tsp. garlic powder 1/8 tsp. cayenne 1/8 tsp. ground cloves Cut franks bite size, set aside. Blend vinegar and cornstarch. Add soy, water, brown sugar, honey, ginger, garlic powder, cayenne and cloves. Mix well. Microwave uncovered on high 6 minutes or until thickened, stirring every 2 minutes. Stir franks into sauce, microwave uncovered on medium 10 minutes until thoroughly heated. Stir once. Makes 40 appetizers. |
