PUMPKIN - NUT BARS 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ginger
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
3/4 c. canned or cooked pumpkin
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Cream butter and sugar until fluffy; add eggs and beat until smooth. Add vanilla. Add sifted together dry ingredients to the creamed mixture alternately with the pumpkin. Stir in the nuts. Spread evenly in greased and lightly floured 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes.

FROSTING:

1 (4 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 c. powdered sugar
1/4 c. butter

Blend ingredients and spread over bars.
