BETH'S CARROT COOKIES 
1/2 c. honey
1 egg
1/2 c. butter
1 c. whole wheat flour
1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. oats
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. wheat germ
1/2 c. grated raw carrots
1/2 c. raisins

Cream butter and honey; add egg and beat. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt; stir into the creamed mixture. Add the remaining ingredients and stir until well blended. Drop by teaspoonfuls on buttered baking sheets, flattening each ball of dough slightly. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 minutes. Makes 3 dozen.
