TROPICAL ISLAND CAKE 
1 can (11 oz.) mandarin oranges, without juice
1 can crushed pineapple (15 1/4 oz.), with juice
1 (4 1/2 oz.) Cool Whip
1 stick butter
1/2 c. confectioners' sugar
1/2 c. orange juice
4 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 pkg. vanilla pudding mix
1 pkg. yellow cake mix (with pudding mix)

ICING:

Cool Whip, pudding mix and confectioners' sugar. Mix together by hand until well mixed. Add pineapple and mix until well mixed. Let sit for 5 minutes, cover cake and put in refrigerator.
