CREAM WAFERS 
1 c. butter
1/3 c. heavy cream
2 c. flour

Refrigerate until well chilled. Heat oven at 375 degrees. On lightly floured board, roll dough 1/8 inch thick, 1/3 at a time, keeping rest of dough cold. Cut 1 1/2 inch rounds; place on waxed paper sprinkled with granulated sugar; turn so both sides are sugared. Place on ungreased sheet. Prick 4 times with fork and bake 7 to 9 minutes. Cool. Put together sandwich fashion with frosting.

FROSTING:

3/4 c. powdered sugar
1/4 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Add food coloring. Beat until light and fluffy.
