BLACKBERRY COBBLER | |
1/2 c. sugar 1/4 c. shortening or butter 1 c. Bisquick 1/2 c. milk 2 cans blackberries 1 c. sugar Juice and water to make 1 cup (drain blackberries and save juice) Preheat oven to 375°F. Cream sugar and butter; add dry ingredients, then milk. Pour into casserole dish. Pour blackberries over mixture, (do not stir). Add 1 cup sugar and 1 cup juice over top, (do not stir). Bake in preheated oven for about 45 minutes or until juicy and bubbly. Rich biscuit dough rises between the fruit and makes the crust. |
