BARBECUED RIBS 
3-3 1/2 lb. pork spareribs
2 tbsp. cooking oil
1 med. onion, chopped
1 c. ketchup
1 c. hot water
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. brown sugar
1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
1/4 tsp. pepper

Place ribs on a jelly roll pan. Cover tightly with foil; bake at 450 degrees for 45 minutes or until tender. Drain off any fat.

In a saucepan, combine all remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Pour over ribs. Reduce heat to 350 degrees; bake uncovered for 1 hour, basting frequently. 6 servings.
