BARBECUED RIBS 
3 to 3 1/2 lbs. pork spareribs
2 tsp. cooking oil
1 med. onion, chopped
1 c. ketchup
1 c. hot water
2 tbsp. vinegar
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. brown sugar
1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
1/4 tsp. black pepper

Place ribs on jelly roll pan. Cover tightly with foil, bake at 450 degrees for 45 minutes or until tender. Drain off any fat. In saucepan combine all remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Pour over ribs. Reduce heat to 350 degrees, bake uncovered for 1 hour basting frequently.
