BARBECUED BACKBONE 
4 lb. pork backbone or spareribs
1 c. sliced onions
1 c. ketchup
1 c. water
2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 c. vinegar
1/4 c. brown sugar
2 tsp. dry mustard

Arrange separated ribs or backbone in shallow pan. Mix remaining ingredients together and cook until onions are tender. Pour sauce over meat. Cover and bake 1 1/2 hours or until meat is tender.
