MEXICAN FRUIT CAKE 
2 c. white sugar
2 tsp. baking soda
15 1/2 oz. can drained pineapple
1 c. chopped nuts
2 c. flour
2 eggs

Beat sugar, soda, flour, and eggs. Then add pineapple and nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.

ICING:

2 c. powdered sugar
8 oz. cream cheese
1 tsp. vanilla
1 stick butter

Beat well with mixer. Ice cake while still warm.
