1/2 c. butter or 1 stick butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 tbsp. cream
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking soda

Chill dough after blending, for at least 1 hour, for ease of handling. Roll to 1/8 inch thickness and cut with your favorite cookie cutter shapes. Bake on ungreased baking sheet, at 350 degrees for 7 minutes.
