PRETZEL JELLO | |
2 c. pretzels, crumbled 3 tbsp. granulated sugar 1 stick butter, melted 8 oz. cream cheese, softened 1 c. granulated sugar 1 pkg. whipped topping mix 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries, thawed 1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple 1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry Jello 1. Combine the pretzels, sugar, and butter. Press mixture into a 7 x 11 inch baking dish. Bake 10 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool. 2. Cream the cream cheese and sugar. Prepare the whipped topping mix and combine with the cream cheese. Spread over the pretzel crust. Refrigerate. 3. Drain the strawberries and the pineapple. Measure juice and enough water to make 2 cups. Boil this liquid, and then dissolve the Jello in it. Chill until barely set; then add the strawberries and pineapple. Pour over the cream cheese mixture and refrigerate until completely set. |
