BEER BREAD 
3 c. self-rising flour
3 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt (optional)
1 egg
1 can beer, room temperature

Mix above ingredients and pour into a greased bread pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.

For variety, you can add bits of cheese, chopped onions, herbs, or raisins. Drizzle with melted butter after loaf comes out of the oven.
