CREAM CHEESE POUND CAKE 
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
3 sticks butter
3 c. sugar
6 eggs, mix together
3 c. cake flour, sifted
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. vanilla

Cream together butter and cream cheese. Add sugar gradually. Alternately add flour (mix salt with flour) and eggs. Add vanilla; continue to mix until creamy.

START IN COLD OVEN. Bake at 300 degrees 1 hour, 15 minutes, or until cake tester comes out clean.

I bake mine on 325 degrees.

NOTE: This cake does not require baking powder; however, be sure to mix eggs together before adding to batter!
