BEETS AND PINEAPPLE 
2 lg. cans beets, sliced or chunks
1 lg. can pineapple chunks
2 tbsp. cornstarch
2 tbsp. brown sugar
2 tbsp. vinegar
Salt & butter to taste

Drain beets and pineapple. Heat pineapple juice with cornstarch until thickened. Add sugar and vinegar. Add beets and pineapple to mixture. Add salt and butter; serve hot. Serves 6.
