BEEF CHEDDAR BAKE 
3 1/2 c. chopped onion
4 tbsp. butter
2 lbs. ground round steak
3 c. grated sharp cheddar cheese
3 c. milk
6 eggs, beaten
2 tsp. dried thyme
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. biscuit baking mix

In large skillet saute onion in butter until soft, but not browned (5 minutes). Stir in meat, saute 10 minutes longer; drain; place in large mixing bowl.

Stir in remaining ingredients. Spoon into buttered 10 inch baking dish. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven 35 to 45 minutes or until mixture is set and lightly browned on top.
