HAM AND CHEESE PIE 
1 1/2 c. diced cooked ham
2 med. onions, thinly sliced
1 med. garlic clove, crushed
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. butter
1/2 tsp. pepper
3 med. potatoes
3 c. shredded Swiss cheese
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 c. light cream
2 (9 inch) pie crusts

In pan saute ham, onion, garlic, salt, pepper and butter. Cool to room temperature. In skillet, saute potatoes until tender. Season with salt and pepper. Layer half cheese, ham mixture and potatoes into prepared pie crust. Repeat layers. Blend cream and eggs. Pour 2/3 over potatoes. Place top crust on. Brush rim with egg mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until golden brown.
