VIDALIA ONION CASSEROLE 
4 med. onions, sliced
1 stick butter
12 saltine crackers, crushed
1 can cream of mushroom soup
2 eggs
1/2 c. milk
Salt & pepper to season
Grated sharp Cheddar cheese

Melt butter in large pan. Add onions and cook until tender. Butter a casserole dish and line with crushed crackers. Add onions and soup in layers until dish is full. Beat eggs and add milk, salt and pepper. Pour over top of casserole. Sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake at 350 degrees until brown and bubbly.
