CRISP AND TASTY PIZZELLES 
1/2 cup butter, very soft
3/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 teaspoons anise extract
3 eggs
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 3/4 cups all purpose flour

Cream together butter and sugar, add extracts. Beat each egg until incorporated fully.

Add flour and baking powder, allow to rise 15 minutes.

Spoon by rounded teaspoon onto Pizzelle iron; check at 1 minute. Bake until lightly browned.

Cool on wire rack.
