1 med. head lettuce, chopped
1 med. onion, chopped
1/2 green pepper, diced
2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen green peas, uncooked

DRESSING:

2 c. mayonnaise
2 tbsp. sugar

Layer the ingredients in the order that they are listed in a 9x13x2 inch dish. Combine the mayonnaise and sugar and pour over salad. Top with grated Cheddar cheese. Refrigerate several hours.
